World Environment Day

"He that plants trees loves others besides himself". - Thomas Fuller
World Environment Day was celebrated on 5 June 2017, keeping pace with this year’s theme - ‘Connecting people to Nature’. At a special assembly to mark the occasion, students of class 8 presented a skit on Environment Conservation by depicting the threats human beings present to the environment and suggesting methods to correct some of the environmental consequences that we are experiencing.
The Principal and Vice Principal addressed the students on the importance of respecting our planet, and the relevance of saving and protecting trees. The students prepared some charts and placards to sensitize the fellow students about the importance of protecting the environment. 70 saplings were planted around the campus to celebrate and connect with nature.
