Children's Day

SJIPS celebrated Childrens' Day with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Traditionally, Children’s Day is held on the 14th of November, the birthday of our first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly called 'Chacha Nehru' by children for whom he had a special affection.

It is celebrated across India to increase the awareness towards the rights, care and education of children. The Teachers made all the arrangements with a lot of energy and excitement. The programme began with invoking God’s blessing upon the students and the lighting of the lamp. This was followed by a short entertainment programme by the students and the teachers.

Our Principal, Fr Sunil wished all the children and spoke briefly about the occasion.
